Introducing Mac OS X
Whether you’re new to computers or switching from Windows, this session is designed to help you start learning the great new features of Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Learn about the features of Mac OS X and the new features of Snow Leopard including quick look, stacks, spotlight, Quicktime X, and more.

Switching From Windows
Like the Intro to Mac class but with more help for Windows users. We’ll make your transition from Windows to Mac a smooth one. We’ll guide you through the differences between a PC and a Mac, familiarize you with a few of the great activities your Mac is made to do, and teach you some useful tips and tricks to help you get the most out of your new Mac. While it may feel as if you’re entering a totally new world on your Mac, you’ll be happy to know it does all the same stuff your Windows PC does – just more intuitively.

Communicating using Mac OS X
Mail, AddressBook, and iChat are included on every new Mac. Mail is a simple yet powerful way to send and receive email messages. iChat is a great way to stay in touch with people all over the world. Address Book provides a flexible, convenient, and easy way to enter and store your contacts. Learn how to use all three with ease.

Exploring the Internet
With the Mac, you’ll love how quickly you can be surfing the web and sending email. But you need to connect to the Internet first. We’ll show you how easy it is, give you tips for a better and safer surfing experience and help you work faster, and safer, online.

Backing Up with Time Machine
Time Machine keeps an up-to-date copy of everything on your Mac — digital photos, music, movies, TV shows, and documents. Now, if you ever have the need, you can easily go back in time to recover anything. We will help you set up Time Machine, customize it, and recover files.

Getting Started with iLife ’09
Every new Mac comes with iLife ‘09 which includes the latest versions of iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, iWeb, and iDVD. With all this great software already on your Mac, you have everything you need to create, enjoy, and share photos, movies, music and websites. This session will give you a quick overview of the whole iLife ’09 suite.

iTunes & iPod
iTunes is for more than just music now. iTunes is the new go-to application for your media. This session shows you how to import and manage music and movies into iTunes and browse the iTunes store for music, TV shows, movies, podcasts and apps.
Note: Bring your iPod to sync it with your Mac and we will show you how to navigate your iPod.

iPhone Intro
In this session we will give you a thorough introduction to iPhone, allowing you to experience and use all of its revolutionary features including the App store. To learn about the iPod features of the iPhone please register for the iTunes & iPod session. Note: Please bring your iPhone and computer to this session.

MobileMe Introduction
MobileMe takes your Mac experience to the web. Learn how to share photos and movies online for your friends, family and colleagues to view (on a Mac or PC). Also learn to manages these galleries online and to check your email from any computer connected to the internet.

iPhoto ‘09 Level 1
Ready to take control of your digital photos? iPhoto is the app for you. Learn how to import and manage your digital photo collection with iPhoto. This session will show you how the Library, Events, Faces, and Places work, and how to create albums. Not sure what the difference is between an event and an album? You have signed up for the right class.

iPhoto ‘09 Level 2
Now its time to turn the fun up a notch. This session shows you how to link iPhoto to more advanced editing tools, like Photoshop Elements. Also learn how to share your photos online with MobileMe, FaceBook, and Flickr. During this session we will also explore the preferences of iPhoto and learn to change the look and feel of iPhoto.

iWeb ‘09 Level 1
Publish yourself online with iWeb. This session will teach you how to build a website using one of the professionally designed templates. Publish your blog, photos, movies and more, all with iWeb. Once you have made your website we will help you publish it to your mobile me account.

iWeb ‘09 Level 2
Once you have started your website it time to customize it by adding new elements, editing how your photos look and going beyond the templates. Learn how to add YouTube videos, countdowns, google maps and more. Also learn now to set up a personal domain name and link it to your MobileMe account. (Personal domain feature requires a purchased domain)

iMovie ‘09 Level 1
Let’s started editing all those home videos. This session will teach you how iMovie works and the basics of how to edit digital videos. Learn to use the built-in themes, titles and transitions. Mix video, photos, and music to create a movie that’s as unique as you.

iMovie ‘09 Level 2
Show the world your masterpiece. Learn how to adjust your video clips, from exposure to slow-mo, this will allow you to put those final touches on your movie project. Once your project is ready, learn how to publish your movie to show the world. Learn how to share with MobileMe, YouTube, iTunes, or on DVD. Also learn how to extend your iMovie library to external hard drives.

iDVD ’09
Want to put your photos and movies on a DVD to share? This session will teach you how to take your photos and movies and create a DVD that looks like it came from Hollywood.

GarageBand makes it easier than ever to create music. Use the built-in loops or record your voice or instrument all in garageband. This session will jump start your garageband career by showing you the interface and how GarageBand works.

Pages is part of Apple’s iWork office suite. In this session we will teach you how to use pages as a Word Prcessor. Learn how to insert photos, create automatic page numbers, format text and more.

Keynote Level 1
Need a great looking presentation? This session will teach you how to use the beautifully designed templates to quickly insert your text, photos, and videos and create a presentation that will impress any crowd.

Keynote Level 2
Once you understand the basics of designing a great presentation its time to spice it up with some slick transitions, effects and auto triggers. Learn how to add transitions and builds to your slides. Also learn how to use other features such as instant alpha and image mask to edit your images right in Keynote.

Numbers Level 1
Numbers is spreadsheets for the average Joe. This session will teach you the basics of the Numbers interface and how to build new spreadsheets from scratch or from a template. This session will also cover how formulas work and help you build some basic formulas.
