Is Your Mac Ready for Mountain Lion?

In order to download Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8) you must have Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6.8) or Lion (OS X 10.7) installed.  If you have 10.5.8 or older you will need to purchase Snow Leopard before upgrading to Lion.

Backup
We always recommend having a current backup of your Mac.  With Time Machine and an external hard drive it is easy to backup your Mac and add peace of mind to the upgrade process.
MemoryMemory
Mountain Lion requires at least 2GB of memory. We recommend 4GB of memory for best performance and many new Macs will support 8GB to 16GB of memory.
Memory upgrades start at $94.95.**

Check Your Mac
Find out if your Mac has Snow Leopard, what processor is inside and how much memory  is installed before Mountain Lion is released. Click on the Apple icon in the top left of your screen and chooseAbout this Mac.  This window will show your Mac’s operating system, processor and memory.  If your Mac doesn’t meet the requirements above we can help upgrade your Mac so it’s ready for Mountain Lion.
