Only the information required to identify the computer and troubleshoot problems is sent to our servers.<\/p>\n<p>The following information is gathered about a computer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Group Name:<\/b>\u00a0We\u00a0assign an arbitrary\u00a0\u201cGroup\u201d for\u00a0computer(s) so we know who to call when problems are reported.<\/li>\n<li><b>Serial Number:<\/b> the serial number helps us determine warranty status and gives us valuable information about the computer when problems arise.<\/li>\n<li><b>Computer Name:<\/b>\u00a0The same name that is\u00a0visible in:<\/li>\n<li>Sharing PreferencePane (Mac)<\/li>\n<li>System Control Panel (Windows)<\/li>\n<li>Hostname (Linux)<\/li>\n<li><b>Monitoring ID:<\/b>\u00a0A random identifier is created upon installation for our systems to identify status reports.<\/li>\n<li><b>User Name:\u00a0<\/b>The \u201cshort name\u201d of the last user to log into the computer.<\/li>\n<li>Online Backup Information: If online backups are monitored, the email address associated with online backup systems will be reported.
